Bloody Mary
and the Nine Day Queen
This musical, written by Gareth Hides with Anna Unwin, tells the story of the faith of a seventeen-year-old girl, Lady Jane Grey, thrust into England's political limelight upon the death of her cousin Edward VI. The production explores Jane's relationship with her cousin, "Bloody" Mary I, and invites the audience to consider what they are living for and asks what they would be prepared to die for?
